STEVE KANALY

Né le 14 mars 1946 à Burbank (Californie). Il débuta au cinéma dans « Juge et hors-la-loi » (1971) de John Huston, film dans lequel débutait...Victoria Principal. On le vit ensuite dans « Mon nom et personne » (1973). L’année suivante, il joue dans « Sugarland Express », le premier film de Steven Spielberg, puis dans « La bataille de Midway » en 1975. Cette même année, il se marie avec Brent Power avec qui il aura deux filles. Il travaille également à la télévision ou il participe aux séries « Starsky et Hutch » (1975), « Wonder Woman » (1976) ou « Drole de dames » (1980). A partir de 1978, il connaît la gloire grâce au personnage de Ray Krebbs, dans « Dallas » personnage qu’il incarnera jusqu’en 1988. Il a également réalisé des épisodes de la série. Après son départ de « Dallas », Steve Kanaly a joue dans deux autres séries : « Okavango » (1993) et « All my children » (1994) ou il incarnait Seabone Hunkle. Aujourd’hui, il se consacre aujourd’hui à sa famille et à ses animaux dans son ranch qu’il possède au Texas. De temps en temps, il reprend le chemin des studios. En 1997, il a réalisé et interprété le film « The Marsken ». Cependant, Steve Kanaly a repris le rôle de Ray Krebbs dans le téléfilm « War of the Ewing » diffusé sur CBS en 1998. La même année, il collaboré au documentaire sur Victoria Principal, sa partenaire de Dallas dans « Intimate portrait : Victoria Principal », et ou apparaissent également Larry Hagman et Patrick Duffy. En 2012, il retrouve Larry Hagman, Patrick Duffy et Linda Gray pour une nouvelle série de Dallas, basée sur la nouvelle génération.
